The tombstone is for Dregolin Giostina. It is made of concrete with the lettering hand-etched and highlighted with black paint. There is a slot which looks like it was once for a small plaque, perhaps a wood block with an emblossed cross, but it is now missing.
The concrete is surrounded by treated lumber, roof flashing and plywood, indicating an attempt to preserve and protect the concrete fairly recently.
Since the words are Italian, I assume Dregolin was born to Italian immigrant parents, and because of the date he very well could have been a victim of the Flu Pandemic of 1918.
Date of Birth: July 22, 1917
Date of Death: September 19, 1918
Material: Concrete
