Located at the triangle created by the intersection of Marin Street, Monterey Avenue, and The Alameda, this unusual round fire house was designed by Ratcliff and Ratcliff Architects in 1961. A plaque outside the station notes that it was seismically upgraded and rededicated in 1999.
The firehouse also includes residences for firefighters.
