The Kuhnert Courts were dedicated to the memory of Edward "Jack" Kuhnert, the recreation commissioner of Freehold from 1985 to 1997. Jack was also a teacher, coach and mentor.

The outdoor basketball courts here even have bleachers set up for spectators!
