Listed in the CSRS database as being at the identical coordinates (N42° 55' 58.80434" W82° 26' 49.60178") to the ones I measured, which was very satisfying, and at an elevation of 182.970 metres (I got 181) so a good spot to check your GPSr. Another tablet is located about 230 metres to the NE at N 42 56.066 W 82 26.706 and is likely a reference mark for this benchmark (see gallery images). The description reads:

CONCRETE MONUMENT ON WEST SIDE OF HIGHWAY NO. 40, 2.1 KM NORTH OF LASALLE ROAD, OPPOSITE SUNOCO REFINERY & STORAGE TANKS, 38.1 M SOUTH OF TOP OF STEPS WHICH LEAD DOWN TO ST. CLAIR RIVER BANK, 18.3 M WEST OF WEST EDGE OF HIGHWAY, TABLET IN TOP. ESTABLISHED BY TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY.
