The Fresno City College Library opened in 1933 as the Fresno State Teachers College Library. It became the FCC Library in 1955 when Fresno State College moved to a new campus in northwest Fresno. The library currently maintains a collection of 66,163 circulating print collections and 14,045 non-circulating print materials.
The present Dean of Library Services is James M. Tucker. In 1995 the library was expanded to include a media center/computer lab as well as a new reading room and enlarged collections storage. The FCC library is home to a Library Technology Program which leads students to a Associate of Scinece in Library Science.
