This nice bright red and yellow bay-window type caboose was donated to the park and placed here in recent years (believed to be 2006 when the small park was established). The caboose was once part of the L&N railroad system as indicated by its markings and is still in great shape. Although locked you can look in the windows and see a glimpse of the past! Great Caboose in great little park with a wonderful playground for the kiddos, with restrooms too!
