A very nice but little noticed monument dedicated to the Nashville area fallen from World War I. Located in a corner of Centennial Park the monument is almost on a busy street corner but hardly seen. Built by funds raised by the people of Davidson County (Nashville) in cooperation with the Nashville Kiwanis Club, dedicated in the year 1923.
Main Monument Inscription: "I gave my best to make a better world" 1917-1918.
