Andreas Drenters – sculptor

Andreas says “Iron is in my blood”. The well known sculptor who worked for over eight months with his brother on ‘The Pioneer Family’ for EXPO ’67 is still creating. That 26 ton piece of art was the largest metal sculpture that he has worked on.

The sculpture was placed in the Courtyard of the Pickering Civil Complex in 1989.
