Shovel Down Stone Row 2, Dartmoor, Devon, UK - Megalithic Monuments on Waymarking.com

This double stone row is on Shovel Down in E Dartmoor, where there can be found stone rows from around 4,000 years ago and remains of field systems from around 3,500 years ago

The row runs North-South, and at its Southerly end is a stone circle, the "Fourfold circle"

We wondered whether the N-S alignment was intentional. Further information
