"The three-sided structure on a triangular block is a landmark in the downtown Omaha area. Designed in the Georgian Revival style by architect George B. Prinz, the building was constructed in 1911-12. Augustus F. Kountze, a local banker and landowner, had the building erected as commercial and office space." ~ Nebraska State Historical Society website
The building now is used by a restaurant and offices.
The Flatiron Hotel building was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
