Ocean County Park was once the estate of John D. Rockefeller. In the 1950's the land became part of the county, and a wonderful park was opened. The lake just within the entrance off Route 88 has a great lake, that used to be a great swimming spot.
There is a covered pavilion here for picnics, and the payphone is nicely tucked under the canopy.
