Long Description:Built by the American Bridge Co. for the Southern Pacific Railroad
in 1911 this bridge is still used daily by Traffic into and out of
Sacramento. This swing bridge is interesting in that it carries an
upper and lower deck. The upper deck carries motor traffic while
the lower deck carries a double tracked railway.

Street Bridge can be found at Highwayman's
Road Reports, where there is a page specifically dedicated
to the Bridges
over the Sacramento River.
