This fire company was involved in the May 2007 forest fire. It was reported flares dropped from an F-16 belonging to the 177th Fighter Wing, setting off a large wildfire that consumed more than 18,000 acres (73 km²) of the Pinelands and forced the evacuation of hundreds of residents.
After an exhaustive search in the internet, it would seem Warren Grove is the red-headed step child of fire companies; there is no mention if it on line except in brief passing. No respect, no respect at all!!!
There is a Smokey Bear across the street. Like other fire stations in the Pine Barrens, it has huge sirens mounted on very high poles to get the word out loud and clear if there be an emergency.
