These behemoths of the Civil War were placed at Fort Pitt in Pittsburgh in 1861 to defend against possible Confederate invasion. If you know your history, then you will know that they were never used in battle. I don't know if they were ever fired at all. Each cannon is facing out from the war memorial (for all American wars) in the center of this town triangle. The coordinates are for the memorial. When you visit one, you see the other.
