Caledonia Bowstring Bridge - Caledonia, Ohio - Orphaned Bridges on Waymarking.com

There is very little written of the Caledonia Bowstring bridge. Some say that this used to be the entrance to a park that no longer exists, while others say that it is going to be used for a park that is going to be developed here.

The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Today much of the wooden deck has fallen into the river, but the main structure still remains. It sits just off the road, and is easy to see. There is room to pull off directly in front of the bridge, or there is also a small building just across from it with paved parking.
