This simple monument may be found in the Oakwood Cemetery in Niagara Falls, New York. Many veterans of the Civil War are buried here including Medal of Honor recipient, LeRoy Williams. Originally there were two boulders and plaques comprising the monument. When dedicated only two survivors of the G.A.R. were present, Joseph Patterson and F.D. Baker.
