This statue is located in Faithful Pet Memorial Gardens between Smithton and Belleville, Illinois. It is in a very rural location. would have driven right by it except I saw a cute chapel and pulled over for a visit. There is no sign. The parking area is under a grove of pine trees and the cemetery is about 100 yards across a grass field. It has many graves. Located on High Prairie School Road near the intersection with Schmidt Lane. I'm not sure of the breed of this dog.
