The Hank Williams Museum is located at 118 Commerce Street in Montgomery, Alabama. The museum was the dream of longtime Hank Williams fan Cecil Jackson, and his dream came true on February 8, 1999 when he opened the museum.
The Museum is filled with hundreds of Hank’s personal artifacts, including several of the suits that he performed in, two Portraits that were In Hank & Audrey's Home a number of his guitars.
Hank Williams died on January 1, 1953 in the backseat of a 1952 Cadillac somewhere near Oak Hill, West Virginia. The centerpiece of the museum is that 1952 Baby Blue Cadillac in which Hank took his last ride. The Hank Williams Museum also feature a number of personal artifact donated by The Drifting Cowboy Band.
No Cameras or video equipment are permitted inside the museum. All cameras must be left in your car of checked at the admissions counter prior to entering the museum.
