This memorial was erected and dedicated in 2007 as an addition to the Veterans Plaza located in Overton Park, Memphis, Tennessee.
The memorial is quite extensive with a number of plaques, the seals of each of the armed forces, and some absolutely beautiful images displayed on bronze plaques. Pictures do not do this memorial justice - you MUST see it for yourself.
The main plaque is located in the center of the memorial. It provides some statistics regarding the Korean War and lists the 20 deadliest battles of the war. The other four sections of the memorial detail historical facts of each year of the war.
