30-year old Officer Wright died in the line duty, while trying to apprehend two criminals following an armed robbery. Not only does this memorial act as a rememberance of Officer Wright, but to the dedication, bravery and courage of Bradley Beach's police.
The monument sits in the park just in front of the Bradley Beach Rail Station, off Main Street (Rt 71).
