I was in the Waterloo area today and decided to look for a few benchmarks while I was in the area. During my research for the trip I noticed a couple of new Reference Mark disks associated with a CORS. RM1 was located within fenced in state property so I did not search for it. However, RM2 is accessible and very easy to find. The PID for this disk is DI3556. It was monumented in 2006, thus it is not logable on the Geocaching website. Below is the description from the NGS datasheet:

DESCRIBED BY TVGA ENGINEERING SURVEYING PC 2006 (GB)

FROM THE INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 5 AND 20 AND ROUTE 414 IN THE TOWN OF WATERLOO GO SOUTH ON ROUTE 414 FOR 0.1 MILES TO RIVER ROAD, TURN RIGHT ON RIVER ROAD AND GO 0.7 MILES TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT. THE STATION IS AN ALUMINUM DISK SET IN A SANITARY SEWER CONCRETE VAULT.

21 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD, 74.5 FEET EAST OF POLE NYSEG 20 AND 27.5 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF 6 FOOT CHAINLINK FENCE AROUND THE SEWER TREATMENT PLANT.
