The Silver Screen Cinema was built around 1939 in Garrett, IN. It's still run along the old-style cinema lines: first come, first served, cash-only. If you want a ticket, you show up with your money and wait in line just like everyone else. They're very proud of the fact that they stay old-fashioned - and their patrons enjoy it very much too.
Especially enjoyable is the fact that one can see first-run movies for only $4.50 per person! This theatre shows a variety of movies; everything from Titanic (which ran a a record 9 weeks) to Horton Hears A Who.
