The village of Aggtelek ist situated in the northeastern part of Hungary, near the Slovakian border. This World Heritage consists of several objects in both countries. All caves in the area have been put under protection. Some of the caves are show-caves, such as Baradla-bg (several kilometers long), Domica, Gombasek and Ochtina (famous for its crystals). Some of the other caves can be visited with special guided tours only.
