Open to the public, weekends, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., beginning in April. (Mile 11.9) Vienna obtained this caboose from the Norfolk Southern Railroad, paying only for its transportation. Operated by Optimist Club of Vienna. Open some Saturdays and a few Sundays during Summer.

Exerpt from an article in 1989 where VA no longer required trains to use a Caboose: Norfolk Southern railroad caboose No. 557725, a weary casualty of a losing battle in last year's Virginia General Assembly session, will come home this month to its final resting place in Vienna.

Current Use:
Display for the most part but open to the public with limited hours.
