Cave located in Rolater Park. Cave Spring, Georgia The town derived its name from the cave and natural spring. In 1832 the town was formed by English and Scotch-Irish ancestors. Today the cave is open for self guided tours during the summer and is closed in the winter. Admission is $1.00 per person. Though it's not Mammoth Cave, it is a great place to take the kids and cool off. Well worth the admission. The spring that exits the cave is safe to drink. You will probably see visitors and locals fill up jugs, water bottles and empty cups for a cool drink. The cave is lit so no flashlights are needed.
As a bonus I have added a few 3D images!
The gray images require 3D glasses.
The double images are crossview no glasses are needed and this method retains it's colors and is more lifelike. To view cross your eyes (not as much as making a funny face) you will see three images. Then focus on the center image (while your eyes are still crossed). This is the 3D image. This method might take some practice! Some get it right off, others don't.
