The Danilesville Water Tower is located in Danielsville, Georgia which is the county seat of Madison County and the birthplace of Dr. Crawford Long. Dr. Long was the first used ether as an anesthetic, in a surgical operation in Jefferson, Ga., March 30, 1842.
