This trap if rather difficult to notice, the funnels walls
are not very visible but it has a cover stone which is a
little overgrown.
These traps were used to catch weasels and stoats which were the main predators of the rabbit, they were caught in traps which funneled them into a small granite tunnel (usually 1m x 0.5m), and then secured them there with slate shutters, triggered to drop when the animal entered the trap.
