Station 223/227 opened on April 28, 1992 and is located at 150 Merchants Way in the Kings Grant section of Evesham Township. There are approximately 28 volunteer Fire and Emergency Medical personnel assigned to this station, under the direction of a volunteer Deputy Fire Chief, a Battalion Chief, two Lieutenants and one E.M.S. Lieutenant. Career personnel, comprised of a Captain, a Lieutenant, and five to six Firefighter/E.M.T.s staff the station Monday - Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The station houses two Seagrave Engines (2231, 2232), one Seagrave 100 ft. Rear Mount Aerial (2235), one Ford Brush Truck (2237), one Ford F-250 Pick Up Truck Support Vehicle (2239) and one Ford/Horton B.L.S. Unit (2271).
