The Country Barn Quilt Trail is located in the picturesque farming communities of Orleans County, New York.
"Immerse yourself back to a time when barns were the center of community life, and quilts were a way rural women expressed their creativity and brought beauty and comfort to their families."
The trail map is available from several locations, but we were lucky enough to get one from the originator of the project's farm..The Paryka's. It is a work in progress, so there are more quilt barns to come!

Your Visit: This was one women's inspiration to get us city folk back into the country. Almost all the locales have a seasonal fruit/vegetable stand out front, and one quilt is actually located at a quilt shop! Type of Barn: Barn still in use
