This is a monument located in Nashville, TN that is dedicated to those who fought here during the American Civil War. Located in a small park it is one of the few monuments that is dedicated to the soldiers of both sides. It is located near several of the other few remaining sites related to the Battle of Nashville. Origiinally dedicated on Armistice Day 1927 and located farther east on land along what is now the edge of Interstate 440 and Franklin Pike the monument was moved to its new location and park after extensive restoration on June 27, 1999.
