Classic theater built in 1930 in this Ohio River town. Area was very prosperous in its heyday. A local group is trying to get it restored.

The theater is currently being restored. This was a pet project of Rosemary Clooney, who grew up here and performed on this stage as a girl. One of her movies, "The Stars are Singing," premiered here in 1953. See the photo for additional details about the restoration.
