Six aircraft are on display outside the museum. There are over 20 more inside and most of them are flyable.
The museum has one of the largest collections of flyable WWII warplanes. They also have artifacts, memorabilia, combat photos, uniforms and original artwork.
The most important component of the Museum is not the actual collection, but is the living history and eyewitness accounts of the hundreds of docents who volunteer their time to explain the exhibits.
