This is the Point Pleasant Fire Department's main firehouse has always been located on the corner of Pt. Pleasant Rd. and Ewer Ave. The current firehouse was completed in 1962 and houses two engines (114 & 115) and their ambulance (119). In addition to housing the fire trucks the firehouse has a large banquet room, kitchen, radio room and offices for the association and district officers. The fire department is one of the few in the area that still has a Drill Team and are known as the "Pea Pickers".
