[FR] Il est l'oeuvre de l'architecte Sassua et a été inauguré par le Maréchal Joffre en personne. Ces soldats sont rappelés chaque année au mémoire à l'occasion des journées du souvenir : le 11 novembre, date de l'armistice signée en 1918 à Rethondes dans l'Oise, le 30 août, date de la libération de Chantilly en 1944, et enfin le 8 mai, jour de l'armistice marquant la fin de la seconde guerre mondiale en 1945.
[EN] It is the work of the architect Sassua and was personally inaugurated by Marshal Joffre. These soldiers are remembered each year on the occasion of the rememberance days : November 11, the day the armistice was signed in 1918 at Rethondes in the Oise department, August 30, the day Chantilly was liberated in 1944, and lastly on May 8, the armistice day marking the end of the second world war in 1945.
