Long Description:The gargoyles have the water spouts through their mouths and reside
on the church tower. All are men in various forms, notably hairy
and winged and with a hat. They spring out of the walls with their
arms holding the tower.
The church of St Mary is mentioned in the Domesday Survey of
1086 and there is a lovely lytch gate and plaque.
