Amity Cemetery is located in the small town of Amity, Ohio, just north of Mount Vernon. This cemetery is relatively old, with some of the burials dating back to the mid-1800's. It is still active to this day, and has about 800 graves.

This cemetery is best known as the burial place of American comedian and actor Paul Lynde who starred in the musical Bye Bye Birdie, and on television in "Bewitched" and "Hollywood Squares."
