Waymark was moved to AZ in 2009, a year after I left CO. But we have returned to the Mountains of CO in 2015. I can still hike but a wee bit slower due to some physical changes.

Update 2015:
Crosier Mountain is back on the agenda. Some good map and compass skills can be taught on this mountain. The cache known as ""Tahosa has Lost His Marbles"" is the cache that can be used for this purpose.
Below is the Waymark Description when we were in AZ.
Desert hiking is a lot different than hiking in the wilds of Colorado, the climate and views are different to say the least.
Water is just as critical for survival but down here we bring combs along. No its not for beauty, but the ability to remove some beautiful cholla spines if you are not careful. And remember how to use a map to its full advantage. Your life could depend on it.
Below is the original wording from the birth of the Waymark in Colorado.
If you want to search for caches in the Real Backcountry and try for some real 4 star and higher caches a hike or 4 wheel excursion with Tahosa can be arranged.
