Built in 1914 as a warehouse facility for Henry Perky's original "Palace of Light" bakery, the first production ovens were installed here in 1918. The facility went on to produce all varieties of both Shredded Wheat cereals ( Big Biscuit, Spoon Sized and Frosted) and the Triscuit crackers. Production continued at the facility after Nabisco sold the cereal business to Kraft but was finally shut down in 2001 and now sits unused and empty.
