It's almost impossible to drive between Vancouver and Seattle, WA on I-5 and not notice the Gospodor Monument Park. Mother Teresa shares the spotlight with a Jesus Monument, one memorializing Holocaust victims, and a monument depicting Chief Seattle.

Chainsaw artist Charlie Hubbard from Shelton, WA created the carvings out of Hemlock. They sit atop rusty steel pipes, some that reach over 100 feet in the air, and are lit at night to the tune of approximately $115 per month.

You can get up close and personal with the monuments by taking the I-5 exit north of the park, then heading south on the eastside frontage road – approximately a mile or two. There is a turnout/parking area, and a walk-through gate to access the park. To return to I-5 I suggest you return north to the same exist.
