The Freeport Book Shoppe is an old fashion used book shop offering a general stock of over 40,000 used and out of print books; we have something of interest for everyone. Our nonfiction section includes a strong selection of material containing Maine and New England history; offerings include town histories and related pamphlets. Other non-fiction includes books covering Military history, World history, some Science subjects, a good Technological and “ How-To “ section, Nature related subjects, and much more.




The Freeport Book Shoppe is an old fashion used book shop offering a general stock of over 40,000 used and out of print books; we have something of interest for everyone. The Freeport Book Shoppe has a large selection of great fiction, both old and new. We have a good representation of Children’s books to include many series books from the early 1900’s. If you enjoy good science fiction there is usually a large selection of both hardcover and paper back titles.

The Freeport Book Shoppe maintains an inventory of over 20,000 Postcards. They are arranged by state or by topics of interest. This year we have included a selection of Ephemera. Our selections include Military, Political, and Advertising items, as well as old Photos.
