Throughout the year, Herbie, a 1942 General Electric 45 ton center cab locomotive, pulls stainless steel passenger coaches along this scenic railroad. Today when I visited, they were offering a special treat during their March "Mount Dora Festival of Steam" which had Coal-fired Steam Locomotive #75 pulling the passenger coaches, as well as Herbie, who brought up the rear. However, this special treat is only available on March 8, 9, 14, 15 & 16 in 2008. Fortunately, Herbie's available to pull the passenger cars for the rest of the year.
