This relatively plain white barn is now preserved as part of the Abraham Lincoln Home Site and Neighborhood within the US National Park Service.

According to the National Park Service website, the barn was built in the 1850's as part of Solomon Allen's property.

Today, it is the only original outbuilding remaining within the Lincoln Neighborhood site.
