This is the place to go to start your visit to Fredericksburg, a small town in the Texas Hill Country that has reinvented itself aa tourist destination, one that not only Texans, but visitors from all over flock to.

The visitors center, located at 302 East Austin Street, should be your first stop when you arrive in town. The only problem with visiting Fredericksburg is that there is so much to see and do, that if your time is limited, it hard to know what the "must see", "must do" things and places are. These people know how to help you, and with the friendliest service we have ever had.

Parking is not a problem as they have a very large lot which even has room for RV's.

The restrooms are located outside the main building.

They have even developed an excellent website which can be found here. When you do arrive in town look them up, they are probably open, especially since they are open seven days a week. But what if you arrive a little later in the day, maybe just after the visitors center has locked its doors? Not worry, they have placed helpful maps at various locations around town.
