There is alot of sandstone in the area but the mushroom is very distinctive. It is well worth the hike and the view is great. This waymark is reached as follows: AZ hwy 60 to the west end of Harcuvar & turn south just before the Desert Gem RV Park, (if you are traveling N.E. on Hwy 60). This is an paved un-named road. Follow this road until you see a dirt road that goes straight ahead. That dirt road will take you close to the mushroom.
