Long Description:
This full sized lighthouse is on Laona Road, right outside of Forestville, NY. It is several miles and a couple of hills from the nearest body of water (Lake Erie). It was apparently built as a memorial to an individual, although I have been unable to discover the story behind it. A couple of locals I spoke with were unaware of it's existence. It is best observed from Laona Road or Creek Road.
