The Woody's Drive-In Matchbook Cover was generously provided by the author of the excellent Highway 99 series That Ribbon of Highway Volumes I, II, & III and Living Gold Press.

Woody's Diner started life on Highway 99 in the early 1950's as Woody's Sooper Pup. By the mid fifties it was Woody's Drive In and looked as it is depicted on the matchbook cover above. Sometime later the sign was relocated to its present position and the establishment became Woody's Diner until the early 1990's.
Now a Thai Restaurant is in the former Woody's location and the sign (or whats left of it) has recently been restored to show something of what this location once was. This location is referenced in That Ribbon of Highway Volume III, Highway 99 Through the Pacific Northwest.
