We found this Bicycle Shop just down from UF Campus. It appears they do a thriving business with college students. The shop looks small and friendly and not overly engaging, ie it looks like even a noob could walk in and not be overwhelmed. Alas it was closed today when we visited. After reading a couple of online reviews one glowing the other dismal; not a sure if I would recommend or not.
