This beautiful memorial has at its center a marble globe atop a monument listing the European Theater, Asiatic Pacific Theater, China, India, and Burma Theater, and the Home Front. On the monument, dates of key events are listed for each of these areas. Each area has a bench set back from the monument also showing the name of the theater. Between the benches on two sides are brick walks with pictures and words of key events, objects, and people involved in the war. In the center section of the monument is a list of those serving, killed, and wounded for the United States as a whole and Berrien County, Michigan in particular.
