This abandoned cemetery sits at the corner of Pharr Road and the entrance to Frankie Allen Park. The cemetery was once connected to Mt. Olive Methodist-Episcopal Church, which served the African-American Macedonia Park neighborhood that once stood where the Park is now located. The cemetery is all that remains of Macedonia Park, which was disbanded by the City of Atlanta in the 1940's to make way for the Park.
Cemetery shows signs of vandalism. Headstones overturned.
