Long Description:
Located a mile west of the strip, you have more locals than tourists, which gives this casino a more local flavor. Plenty of slots, video poker and table games for your gambling pleasure. 1,886 beautifully appointed rooms and suites - a pool, a spa, movie theaters and even bowling lanes.
When I was there, I saw George Carlin in the Showroom, 850 seats. The Orleans Arena, home to the Las Vegas Wranglers hockey team is large enough for much bigger acts. They also have a lounge for smaller acts.
Plenty of eating choices, bars and shops for things you forgot at home. They have everything you need here - no need to visit the strip at all.
